Chris My suggestion would be visit every LFS in your area and see what they are using I used T8 plant tubes (except when I bought only once daylight tubes) I replaced them annually. Keith
Thanks Keith, I went to Maidenhead Aquatics near to me yesterdayand splashed out on a fluval aquasky led light bar. Controlled through an app on my phone. Will be setting it up today and will let you know how it is.
Looking forward to horw the new lighting does Was considering these as they seem reasonably priced and fluval have good reputation for equipment
Hi Chris that's handy to know if I get one, any issues you can just take back, Just had a bit of nightmare with a online light t5 tube order Waited a while for it ,ordered before the holiday just arrived wrong wattage it would be a algae magnet!! Now faced with the return prochedure.
Set the Aquasky up yesterday, very simple to set and working great. Very impressed. I upgraded on the app and it stops the original app working, so just go into pro settings and works a treat.
Just received a new tank. 80x35x40 deep. it was from Diversa and bought on fleabay. It arrived on Friday and I must say, I am very impressed with the finish on it. I will be setting it up in the next few weeks to replace the original tank which I feel is just too deep to scape aesthetically. Still very happy with the aquasky which is very easy to set up and use.
Not sure just yet Keith. I keep looking for inspiration, but nothing is really jumping out at me yet.
