I am a sense aquarist yet - don' t measure, just work with my feeling and watching animals and plants. Just trial and error.
It works not too bad, mostly.
One day, when I find time, perhaps in a lonesome winter night, I will read all this stuff and try to understand it...

Thank you very much too evelyn.. Me neither i do not measure that much.. Just a little PH, GH and KH because i use presurized Co2.. For the rest i look what the tank tells me. If a plant doesn't want to be in there with what i believe i should do and others do well i take it out and replace it. I'm not going to measure and change the whole concept jused for one who doesn't want to participate in the harmony with the rest looking good.
