    If I could get just one it would have to go on a diet after it finished the cleaning job?

    Do they breed in a tank?

    Keith yes they do but not as much as the pest ones, this just means your cleanup crew got bigger at no cost :) ( local shops sell them for £5+- each, if no snails are available for dinner they with eat the stuff you don't want in the tank.

    Hi Jason, £5+ each, :jaw: My ones were £2.95 each or 5 for £10. Going to get 5 more soon for my other tanks.I am thinking of getting some Elephant snails:indecisiveness: Great looking critters, Funny i wanted to get rid of snails. Now i am thinking of buying more ????? :loco:

    There are two snails I detest one is the small ones in the tank and the garden snails.

    When I was showing Orchids one years work and waiting for "that special flower" could be gone over night.

    Looks like I have to play squasharoo as I see them.

    Its good to know they are now cheaper, I did get mine a few years back :), The ones I put in my mums tanks are babies from my original 3 :)
