We were deeply touched and saddened by the message, that on Saturday, 11.7.2019, our member Greenfinger 2 died in the circle of his family after a long serious illness. Far too early only 61 years young. Our deepest sympathy goes to his family and his friends, that we wish much strength and courage in this difficult period. Roy began 2014 with Aquascaping and very fast he developed to a very genuine Aquascaper with wonderful scapes. Later he created a lot of stunning Wabi Kusas, too. Many have known him and his works in the Aquascaping scene. He had always an open ear for others and has been on the spot with help and advice, whenever it was needed. Farewell Roy, we wish you silence and tranquillity. But you will never go completely; you will be missed by everyone who knew you. We are thankful that we did not miss out on you in this life and will never forget the great time; we had together as Aquascapes and as friends. I found Roy very supportive when I became a member of UKAPS he even inquired about my aquarium how it was doing months after. I found a interest further than aquariums in Wabi Kusa and thats I am sure down to Roy's posts and journals and also ended up at Glass Box Gardeners. A true gent I never met in person but felt l knew all my life. My thoughts go out to his family
Yes he was Paraguay, I miss him very much, too. Roy had been always there to help everybody in different forums with scaping and had been really somebody special.
