Very experimental - a dried ball of horse poop surrounded by sphagnum moss and tried down with nylon line. It's about tennis ball size.
Some other moss on top which is not tied on, I didn't want to crush the tall parts (what are they called?)

    yeswaitnosorry,

Horse poop that should gallop them along (sorry could not resist that) as long as the poop was old it should be great.

Using poop you might get a few surprise weeds.

I'm very lucky to have access to a selection of horse poop from fresh to old and dry. LOL

That's great, I knew they had a name, just couldn't remember, it's been a long time since I studied any botany.
