Very excited to have found this forum! I am just starting into the realm of terrariums. Bad knees and tick bite allergies are keeping me out of my "big" garden, and although I enjoy my freshwater fishies and shrimps, my passion is plants.

Welcome to GBG what part of Australia are you from?
I am 75klm south of Melb on the Coast.
Do you have any photos of what you have completed or would like to do.

Here are three elements I would like to do something with.
A pieces of slate, small gravel chips, and some airplants. (I have more of everything if needed.)
    Suggested most gratefully received.

Before I comment I would like to see what the "more of every thing is"

At the moment looks OK but might have looked a lot better if you used other materials you have.

Sorry, I meant I have more slate, gravel chips and plants. That was just a pile for the photo, it is not a creation.

Replace those white gravel with slate bits and pieces and you will have a nice looking display.
