Managed to try and set living room tank again not the finished yet.All the ferns been in greenhouse all summer with just occasional water change ,top up with rainwater,no fertiliser but plenty of hot temperatures in daylight The java moss in there also did well but some did die off Just got a internal filter in and started CO2, thinking about plants to add and whether to leave fish in the other tank and set up with a shoal of tetra? Lemon maybe

It should look very good when it's all finished.

The Lemon could very easily get lost (not seen because of the Colourings)

    Something to think about.

I would prefer a dark blue this gives you the illusion of greater depth.

If it's difficult to remove and replace the backing grow tall leafy plants across the back to hide the light blue.

Seems a bit unusual(to me) but a some off the java ferns started to show signs of melt So had a bit of a trim In the greenhouse over summer they did well a bit neglected, I cant alter the lighting to much so I have let the floaters salvinia take over a bit to see if they buck up a bit

They usually do alright for me ,cut out the bad leafs and trimmed a little maybe a change of from greenhouse to aquarium caused the melt . I no what you mean though @moss-maniac the way plants are described sometimes like just put me in the aquarium l am an easy plant!
