Pictures a bit poor but I put trimmed java moss in a candle jar and was happy to see small emmersed java fern and bacopa pieces growing with hydroctolye The bowl is java from on lava rock
Paraguay You would be surprised what can be done with a little care and practice. Keep up the good work. Keith
Paraguay What inhabitants are in there a few cheep shrimps should give you enough ferts for the plants plus control any algae? Keith
There is only a couple of cm of water at the base with java moss I think it would be too small a jar to flood and add shrimp.l am relying on humidity and a daily misting for the plants . Gave me a thought for the Java Fern bowl though Keith that would be ok. but need to work out a water change method and it might work for a couple of cherry shrimps or ram shorn snails
Paraguay I would go with the Shrimps far less poop than the Snails. Syphoning a piece of airline with a piece of fine mesh tied on the end. I water my Terrariums with a 1lt plastic watering can I bought it at the local Supermarket. You can also syphon into it and most important it won't break the bank. Keith
Progress is good on the bowl everything thriving 2 cherry shrimps in but shy no visible algae the little jar developing into little emmersed garden . On bright windowsill during day and lamp lit in evenings
Paraguay Looking good. Once the Cherries start breeding unless you do no have a breeding pair you will have plenty to see very soon. Keith
