My 240 Liter Riparium

    Hey, I want to show you my 240 Liter Riparium in the livingroom.
    It´s now 17 years old.
    240LiterSep2012.
    In summer the plants grow out of the Water and somtimes out of the tank too:D
    240LiterFeb112.
    In Winter the Air is to dry and bugs want to destroi the plants.
    240LiterFeb11.
    The Efeutute/ sindapsus grows since 17 Years out of the Aquarium...an older Photo
    240Liter2006.
    While it is not Aquascape, but honest in the Dutch style, but I hope you like it anyway

    17 years - really impressing!

    I absolutely love it Monika,:)
    btw. is the climbing plant on the wall sindapsus planted directly in the tank? In the soil??

    Yes, it´ts starts with one Plant and the Roots need 30x30x30cm in the Aquarium. On top off the Roots sitting the other plants to grow out.
    Its like a substrate increase.
    The Bacopa monieri sit on the roots and flowers

    Here you see, the Efeutute grow out on the right...
    EmerseWasserpflanzen3.
    Under the roots and the emerse Plants, are mangrove roots with Anubias and Sagittaria sublata...also a red Tigerlotus
    and Cryptocoryne Ponderifolia
