    Hi Keith,

    That's an old pic. I used to grow them in 50% cocopeat-50% Garden soil mix. They like moist substrate. They grew well for over a year and propogated well for me. Yes, they're very slow growers and can be compared to the growth rate of anubias.

    I think the grower from Northern Australia would grow them in a mud mix in the open as he had tropical conditions.

    Sorry for the late reply. I have no idea about the natural growth hormone. I am happy the ferns are growing that way.
