Hei, now I hope I am on the right Place zu show piktures of mein first Wabikusaball Its filled with Kokohum and a fertilizer. First Plant is a Cyperus helferibaby of my Motherpant Then 4 Weeks later from the front and from the back The plants are Alternathera sessilis Cyperus helferi Lysimachia-nummularia-aurea Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides Taiwanmoos Its not perfekt, but a start. The ball is so heavy, that the dish is broken I want to repair it like Tiffanyglasart...We do it long time ago, but we have the things to prepair here... Viele Grüße Monika An older Wabikusastart with Zyperus helferi, Rotala rotundifolia, Poligonum pak chong and Weppingmoos A motherplant from Cyperus helferi with Hydrocotyle verticillata
Mowa I prefer to look from the back, reasons being you can see the different height levels from lowest to the highest point in your planting. The lightest plants in the front and the darkest and tallest at the back. In my opinion from the back the plant looks far more interesting and worth admiring. With your presentation I would prefer a Black felt (as used in toy making) it can be called Toy Felt its a little thicker than the Felt used on a Billiard Table (which is green). I very roughly blocked it out to give you a good idea of what it would look like. One larger piece could be used at the back as well. Keith
Mowa An older Wabikusastart I certainly like that very simple arrangement its a KIS in a very simple form yet its extremely pleasant to look at. Keith
thank you for your words and your help. I will look for a suitable cloth and try your tips to realize. Sorry that I neglected the background, for me, was the first Wabikusaball in the foreground. For other projects, I used a terry towel what one has actually every household at home in different colors. for example. when Rocherboxencontest I forgot to mention the Poligonium Sao Paulo ... plant list from Wabikusaball The plants are Alternathera sessilis Poligonum sao paulo Cyperus helferi Lysimachia nummularia-aurea- Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides Taiwan moss VG Monika
Mowa Only too pleased to help you. What is the size of this one? If big enough I would love to see a few cold water shrimps in it (Check Roy out for that) to see what is available. Keith

Hi Mowa, Some lovely W-K you have done And i like your ideas too Chocolate box yum yum then a W-K great
Mowa I like what you have done, do you still have it? Here is a good photo of that Light House and buildings. Note how the photographer set it up "Not square on" this give a greater perspective and more appealing to admire. Place the Light House 1/3rd in from the left for a greater sight flow Trying to duplicate that is very difficult especially keeping every thing in perspective. My suggestions would be remove that rock it looks like a mountain in comparison. Make a slight rise to sit the Light House and buildings on. For the grassy area I would use a very low moss and keep it trimmed. Keith
Very nice monika and a great idea, this gives me an idea to get my wife interested ?.. buy her chocolates
Hei, no, I don´t still have it. Look at the Copyright of the pikture ;-) But the "hardscape" can stand anywere in a corner...I have to look... The other stand up in the staircase...but without care. If I want to, I can reactivate it... Cut the fern, clean the Sand and the Windows, pull the Riccia down, ready Can you buy in Winter Rocherboxen in England and Australia? If we on vacation in Kanada, wie are very surprised, that "Kraft", "Nestle"m "Ferrero" and so on are international äh global Now Ferrero has Summerbrake... In a few weeks, we will re-visit the westerhever during our holiday ... eat there a lamb sausage and are happy with its beautiful scenery ... ride a bicycle against the North wind, coming from St. Peter Ording (Germany's biggest sandbox I love;-) it ... VG Monika
