Hi All, one new W-K done in a Chinese soup spoon :friendly_wink:
The other photo is of a lump of rotting wood i found on a walk. It looks like a African tribal mask. After soaking and time to see if there is any mould growth on the wood i will plant up.I am looking forward to see how it looks.
nice wood Roy and i can see the face shape
the mini spoon wabi is a nice idea looking good

Hi All,Well its winter in the UK " I hate the cold " So do my W-K :disturbed:
So am keeping some old and some new W-K in a old tank 36"x18x18 with a 30w 6500k garden floodlight over the top.The plants are growing slowly at this point but looking good.
A couple of photos,
Great collection Roy
I have the same problem here with the cold as im working on an emersed aquascape at the mo inbetween other projects and kids and I've partially submersed it just to fit a small aquarium heater to raise the temp why the temps have dropped
My biggest concerns are the hot humid summer days plants drying out inside and burning outside.
To give you an idea if you leave a long hose in the sun when you turn it on it can give you a slight burn the water is so hot.
You never water the plants straight away as it will burn them.
Hi All, Update on these two eaceful:
Hi All, Two new ones i am working on nthego:
I like the last one the best by miles main reason its full of character and not enclosed in.
Yes, the last one !!!
Hi All, Spring is here time for Wabi-Kusa
Update on this old one. One as it looked And now about 5 months on
More to come :smile-new:
I'm impressed by the evolution!
Have you put an anubia? The plant in the center of the first photo from these days seems to be one, but I'm not sure!
Have you trimmed the "mop top" yet?
Other than that it looks very good.
Hi Glomeridae, Thank you :smile-new: The Anubias, I have changed there's one less there was one a little higher up the wood but did not do well so i took it out.
Here is a photo at the start.
Hi Keith, I did trim the HC a tad to much a couple of days later it died :fatigue:
Ho well will have to reattach some more or try something else??
it died? oh :numbness:
Great WK vase, Roy:triumphant:
Roy is that usual for the HC to do that and do you know the reason other than the trimming to cause it to die?
