Hi All, Time to start a new journal with my new 40cm Optiwhite Cube Cube 40cm Pressurised Co2 run through a reactor. Aqua pro 2 filter. One 30w 6500k garden flood light JBL pro scape Substrate EI ferts Hardscape Dragon stone and DW. Plants Alternathera rosaefolia Crypt wendtii brown Fissidens fontanus Gratiola viscidula HC Cuba carpet Hygrophila lancea ( Araguaia) Ludwigia repens Polygonum ( sao paulo) Riccardia chamedryfolia Rotala (bonsai) 2 photos of the Hardscape This one will be up and running in the next few weeks Then had some advice to cut off the front large branch and replace it with a thinner piece Job done so this is how the scape is now.one photo some bits and bobs to sort out then I will start to plant up
Roy a few things you might like to consider. I removed the thicker upright piece from the RH piece of DW it was standing out too much and crossed over another twiggy piece making it stand out and not blend in with the rest of the twiggy pieces. The gap between the two pieces of DW looked bare so I added a long thing twiggy piece to bring the two pieces together. Over all its a great looking Aquascape. Remember the rule KIS and natural looking. Keith
Looking good Roy great job. Did you have your new tanks custom made? And if so who by? As I'm after a good quality silicone Job for my new tank. Some companies I've seen are not as good as what your's looks. Thanks
Hi Jason, Thank you Ordered them from Seapets. Super quality mate the best I have seen at the price http://www.seapets.co.uk/products/aquarium-supplies/aquariums/aqua-one/aqua-one-aquaopti-aquariums/all-products.html
Roy you know my old brain by now I seem to by pass every thing and go straight to the finished product. Keith
Hi all, My new regulators from Co2 ART. For the two new tanks the one on the left is the update version for the 60 cm still got to get the bubble counter for this one And my new inflow pipe that a friend made me He did a super job.
Hi Menky, Thank you looking forward to using them Yes I know I am very lucky I Will be making some myself soon Now I know how its done. Will post up the info.
Nice regulator's Roy I have co2 arts original dual stage but I see that the newer ones, you say the left one is updated? What's the difference between these two?
Hi Jason, Thank you. They are fantastic Quality regs. The only difference is the Needle valve is up the top and larger on the updated version so easy to use and set On the old one its on the end of the SMC valve and a bit fiddly to use lucky I have small fingers
Keith Imagine.. Wont take long anymore than his W-K's will show the work of what 20 little green fingers can do.. No idea, already strungling to keep up with my 10 thick and clumsy beer sausages..
