Marcel Chlorine can be a problem during the holiday season summer months it is always extremely high. It never seem to effect any of the garden plants only the Aquariums and for that I stored it for a week. Keith
I realy do feel lucky with our water.. I live near the German border, get our water from the German Eifel, its about a steady GH4 and KH5 and no chlorine. That used to be different in the past when we had a rock hard GH38 that was difficult to get things growing in back then. Now i can put it straight from the tap into the tank. I have a lot of respect for the ones having a lot of issues with water quality from the tap and still manage to mantain a beautiful tank.
Marcel Because of other concern I was advised to take hot water directly from the instantaneous HW service it killed a lot of bugs especially Ich. Keith
After seeing a piece on Crafty Plants about Airplants on Gardeners World, I was thinking of couple on wood above a small aquarium, emailing them for advice the guys were helpful in saying which were suitable and which were not also discovered they have many plants orchids, spray fertilisers terrarium goods, as most aquatic shops, garden centres are a bit hit and miss as regards this thought it worth mentioning .https://www.craftyplants.co.uk in the UK
