Ophiopogon japonicus 'Minor' ( Ruscaceae ) is a very good grasslike plant with nice flowers and pretty litttle berries... The other Ophiopogons are also really pretty, especially the black one...
Bucephalandra ,Glossostigma and hygrocotyle are good plants . But my echinodorus tenellus doesnt want to go out of the water . I dont know why .
Actualy all aquarium plants minus the few truly aqautics can be use in W-K. But not all are so easy. as i'm trying to get the Rotala Mexicana Goyas to grow emersed, rather difficult plant, it's submersed in my tank very close to the surface but it grows down instead of up, refuses to come out.. I did put it in my first W-K and we will see in a few weeks. Till now almost 2 weeks it didn't do much. Maybe temperature related. Here is a fine database where you can filter on "Can be grown emersed". http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/plantfinder/index.php
Keith, yes i've used it just for the filter options it has. Actualy all plants i choose i've checked at this site to find out if it suitable to go with a dry start and helped me a lot to know which to buy first. Next to flowgrow.de i find the best databases i found till now.
