Hardscape 5 pieces od DW Substrate Tropica, topped with mixed sizes of gravel and some river stones Plants Ho will have to do a list but lots Some photos Updates coming soon
Roy What makes it look even more natural is those river stones all natural and different earthy colours a perfect match and setting for the DW and plants. Keith
Yes indeed. like he sneaked out the house at night with the empty tank under his arms, on his toes to, the stream next door en scoop it out and run back inside.. Tadaa!? Cant wait to see how this looks in a few months.. Realy nice shallow..
Roy Great photos. What are the little white spots? J Art ASW posted a photo of how he tried to photograph his tank, he is a Professional photographer. Keith
Hi All Thank you I must say it looks fantastic in the front room everyone that has seen it love it Keith the little White Spots are reflection from LED light on the water J Art has just joined Ukaps the other day Will be chatting to him soon
Roy I don't think I have ever seen that before. That saves me sending him a PM he would certainly be a great asset to GBG. Keith
Awsome!! UG?? Frogbit?? The whole setup.. Wanna have it too.. My next one is definitely going to be shallow.. You pulled me over the line..
You've got me hooked too Roy. I'm excited about watching it mature. Think I will put a project like this on my calendar.
Hi Rob, I am really exited with this side of the hobby you have the best of both worlds Plants seem to be ok at room temp I think I was over protecting my W-K in the past
In summer my house temp is around 25º which I would think is pretty good. I drop it to 20º in the winter and use a heater, but think I may discontinue.
Lovely and very inntresting setup.. And excactly where the anubias would be in it's natural habitat in the splashzone of the stream.. Can't wait to see it grow emersed. Funny how we think alike, without communicating about it, i did the same with a nana petite also splashed by the filter outlet.. But they grow very slow emersed, remarkebly slower then submersed..
